Job Summary
Monitor service, product levels, and safety within budgeted expenses while supervising cash controls and asset protection guidelines. Manage production flow and staff productivity to maximize product output, planning work schedules to meet business demands and ensuring fresh merchandise rotation. Recruit, interview, hire, and train direct reports, providing performance evaluations and handling discipline or termination per policy. Audit employees on workplace safety and loss prevention, analyze report data to propose tactical plans for process improvement, and perform Store Manager duties in their absence.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Independently makes decisions that positively impact store goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 3+ years of progressively responsible retail supervisory experience
- Ability to maintain a stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to stand and walk, lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs
- Ability to clearly communicate, identify, analyze and assess details
- Travel Required: Occasional travel up to 10 %
