Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in daily store operations, customer service standards, and team performance. Serve as Manager-on-Duty as needed, including opening/closing the store and assisting with cash handling, register balancing, and deposit preparation. Provide product expertise to customers, resolve routine concerns, and supervise associates by assigning tasks and monitoring service levels. Ensure store standards are consistently executed through clean, stocked merchandise and current promotional displays. Support onboarding and ongoing training in customer service, safety, POS operation, and company policies. Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coordination of staffing needs. This role reports to the Store Manager at Pinch A Penny Gilbert, AZ, with a requirement to work weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older to be eligible to drive a company vehicle
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)
- Retail and customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and stand/walk for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Must complete pre-employment drug testing
- Must complete background verifications
