Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales and profit projections, maintain customer satisfaction, develop team members through training and evaluation, enforce company policies, and assist with recruiting and day-to-day store operations. Responsibilities include coaching staff, delivering training, ensuring excellent customer experiences, interpreting instructions, and contributing to internal promotions. The position offers base pay with commission, full benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a mall-based Signet Jewelers Banter by Piercing Pagoda operation.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
- Availability to work days, nights and weekends
