Job Summary
Greet neighbors and their pets, host adoption events, and analyze sales results to maximize productivity. Assist in operational management by adhering to safety and cleanliness policies while maintaining a fully staffed team through recruiting and onboarding. Cultivate team morale by coaching members, recognizing performance, and connecting with community organizations for marketing partnerships. Operate store equipment including forklifts and climb ladders to support daily store functions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading a retail team
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- good communication skills
- Ability to operate all equipment – including a forklift
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to bend
- ability to kneel
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- reliable transportation
- pass the drug, background and validated selection test
- be 18 years or older
