Job Summary
OASM-in-Training role focused on learning and executing store operations: responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, identifying stock deficiencies, supervising associates in selling behaviors, resolving customer issues, and supporting service needs across departments; training through a structured program over up to 6 weeks, with emphasis on customer service, sales & profitability, safety compliance, SOPs, and hands-on leadership development; collaboration with Store Manager and ASMs to develop strategies for departmental success and overall store performance; requires the ability to lead by example, drive customer service engagement, manage daily operations, and ensure policy compliance; travel is minimal.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Minimum Education: high school diploma and/or GED.
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 3
- Minimum Leadership Experience: 2+ years
- Preferred Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent
