Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, Operations, you will lead and optimize retail store operations to deliver an exceptional guest journey for a luxury lifestyle brand. You will execute schedules to maximize productivity and manage labour spend, coach the team to uphold operational standards (stockroom, cleanliness, opening/closing procedures), manage inventory planning and loss prevention, ensure accurate inventory and cash handling, and drive performance through KPIs. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to maintain the store’s physical environment, lead visual merchandising efforts, resolve guest issues with a customer-centric lens, and develop direct reports to prepare for Store Manager responsibilities. You will foster an inclusive, high-performance culture, recruit talent, and support a superior employee experience while achieving sales targets and sustaining Canada Goose’s values.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years retail management experience
- Proven track record in store operations
- Experience working with affluent and luxury brands is an asset
- Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (payroll, shrink management, inventory management)
- Inventory, Scheduling and Payroll and expense management
- Solid understanding of retail metrics and analytics
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to stand for long periods and work retail hours
