Assistant Store Manager - New Braunfels, TX

Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in building James Avery culture, customer experience, brand awareness and store operations. Assists the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and employee training and development. Acts as a brand ambassador in the store and community; develops and maintains relationships to drive brand awareness, support, and store traffic. Assists with critical operations such as inventory management, scheduling, payroll, BOPIS, Ship by Store and supply budgets to increase profitability. Leads by example, enforces processes and standards, and looks for ways to streamline and improve efficiency. Serves as the on-floor sales leader, develops the team, builds relationships with customers, and increases revenue. Facilitates knowledge-sharing and training; ensures the store is maintained and organized for a great shopping experience. Analyzes sales reports and KPIs to guide business needs; partners with the Store Manager to execute in-store business and sales strategies. Promotes an inclusive, collaborative problem-solving approach and models GUEST principles. Resolves customer concerns promptly and maintains a fast, efficient checkout experience; stays current on payments, returns, and other operations. Partners with the Store Manager to address HR issues; collaborates cross-functionally to build trust and credibility. Supports special events and promotions and communicates effectively. Requires an Associate’s Degree and two years of retail experience, or an equivalent combination, plus a genuine passion for customer service and relationship-building; ability to delegate, provide feedback, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
