Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at NAPA: lead a fast-paced retail store team to deliver superior customer service, drive sales and profitability, manage store operations and safety, and engage and develop crew members. Responsibilities include coaching and training staff, building customer relationships, managing inventory and asset protection, and executing store initiatives and marketing programs to achieve market penetration and growth. Preferred qualifications include automotive aftermarket experience, willingness to learn automotive topics, and ASE certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or trade school courses or degree completion
- Experience in the automotive after-market service industry or willingness to learn all things automotive
- Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading a retail or automotive parts team
- Customer-service-driven mindset
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- ASE certifications (preferred)
- Experience in fast-paced retail environment
