Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for supervising store operations, delivering customer service, promoting service and product benefits, performing vehicle inspections, managing budget and financials, and guiding staff to meet sales and profitability goals. Key duties include opening/closing the location, maintaining inventory, staff training, addressing customer concerns, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and contributing to safety and policy communications. Requires retail or automotive experience, strong communication, ability to lead a team, and a valid driver’s license; must be able to obtain a Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire and meet pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain the state appropriate Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire
- Previous experience in retail or automotive sales or service
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to operate a computer and office productivity machinery
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license for moving customer vehicles
- Ability to communicate in English
- Successful pre-employment screenings
