Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in leading customer service and store operations across a Canadian retail setting. Responsibilities include modeling exemplary customer service, resolving customer complaints per guidelines, mentoring and developing staff, scheduling and staffing objectives, coordinating with buyers on inventory and merchandising, promoting equipment and services sales, managing inventory and stock levels, planning and executing events, enforcing health and safety protocols, and supporting succession planning. Requires strong communication, leadership, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding the company values of Care, Ownership, Respect and Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service leadership or supervision in a retail environment
- Ability to recruit, train, and schedule store staff
- Strong communication and presentation skills for instructing individuals and groups
- Proven ability to manage inventory and coordinate with buyers on merchandising and inventory planning
- Demonstrated capability to implement safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to meet company standards and promote inclusiveness and belonging
- Commitment to sustainability and social impact initiatives
