Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee store operations and merchandising, ensuring excellent customer service while driving sales and profitability. Your responsibilities include training and developing associates, managing inventory and stock levels, executing merchandising standards, and leading pricing activities. You will take part in monitoring performance metrics and make informed business decisions to improve store results. Key skills include strong communication, decision-making, and people management abilities, along with flexible scheduling to respond to business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience supervising teams or associates, including the responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management
- Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a managerial position
- College degree OR equivalent combination of education and 2 years experience in retail or similar industry
