Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager overseeing store operations and merchandising with accountability for driving sales and profitability. Responsibilities include managing stockroom and omnichannel fulfillment, directing floor replenishment and visual merchandising, leading customer service and POS execution, training and coaching associates to follow brand standards, implementing pricing and signing changes, mitigating loss, ensuring safety and policy adherence, and aligning resources to meet KPIs and store goals. Requires experience supervising teams, strong communication and decision-making, people-management skills, and flexibility in scheduling; college degree or equivalent experience in retail preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management
- Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- College degree OR equivalent combination of education and 2 years experience in retail or similar industry
