Job Summary
Oversee store operations and merchandising, driving sales and profitability while coaching and developing associates to execute operational, service and merchandising processes. Lead customer service, pricing, stockroom and floor replenishment, ensure visual merchandising standards are aligned with brand direction, and manage loss prevention. Role emphasizes training and supervising staff, managing KPIs, and ensuring accurate pricing and signing, with a focus on delivering a compelling customer experience across in-store and omnichannel activities. Must be 18+, available nights/weekends/holidays, and able to work in a retail environment with leadership responsibilities. Kohl’s-specific tools and processes are referenced, and the role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience supervising teams or associates, including the responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management
- Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- College degree OR equivalent combination of education and 2 years experience in retail or similar industry
