Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
Oversee store operations and/or merchandising with a focus on driving sales and profitability. Teach, coach, and develop associates to execute operational, service, and merchandising processes, including receiving and processing product, stockroom management and omni channel fulfillment. Lead point-of-sale and customer service efforts to deliver a fast, engaging shopping experience while maintaining visual merchandising standards and floor replenishment. Direct and train associates to implement company merchandising direction and pricing activities, ensure accurate tagging and signing, and support loss prevention. Manage hiring, training, development, and supervision of staff; uphold safety, policies, and brand standards. Must be at least 18 years old and have a college degree or an equivalent combination of education and retail experience. Location is Boynton Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience supervising teams or associates, including the responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management
- Great verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions
- Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Preferred Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a managerial position
- College degree OR equivalent combination of education and 2 years experience in retail or similar industry
