Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and developing team members while overseeing all store functions and day-to-day activities. Perform opening and closing procedures independently, manage freight flow, and direct supervisory responsibility for hourly staff when the manager is absent. Secure company assets, maintain stockroom and sales floor standards, process corporate directives, and ensure the sales floor remains effective daily. Adhere to all safety policies and productivity standards while meeting flexible full-time or part-time schedule demands.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule or part-time to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer prior retail and management experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high energy, team environment
