Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and developing store team members while overseeing all store functions and day-to-day activities. Perform opening and closing procedures independently, manage freight flow, and direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is absent. Secure company assets, maintain stockroom and sales floor standards, and process SSC Corporate directives to meet productivity goals. Adhere to safety policies and ensure the sales floor remains effective daily. Requires prior retail experience, ability to lift up to 50lbs, and flexible full-time or part-time scheduling including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule or part-time to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
