Job Summary
Deliver an excellent customer experience by coaching and motivating the sales team while driving sales and achieving key KPIs. Maintain operational excellence through scheduling, inventory management, and evaluating employee performance. Act as a partner between customers, associates, and store leadership to ensure merchandising, visual, and operational expectations are met. Train and grow the team through ongoing coaching and feedback, ensuring high product knowledge and awareness of current trends. Support key initiatives with the Store Manager and take a proactive approach to business growth through community outreach. Provide outrageous experiences 100% of the time by sharing JD Sports' authentic brands with the community. Join the rapidly growing retail team at JD Sports Canada in Mapleview Centre, ON. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience
- Experience supervising, training and coaching sales associates
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis
- Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays
