Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager for JD Sports Canada at Bayshore Shopping Centre. Lead and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, manage scheduling and inventory, and partner with store leadership to achieve KPIs in a fast-paced, omni-channel retail environment. Requires at least 2 years of retail experience, leadership capabilities, strong product knowledge in streetwear/sneaker culture, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Emphasizes coaching, engagement with customers, merchandising, and community outreach to grow the business.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience
- Experience supervising, training and coaching sales associates
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
- Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis
- Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays
