Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations to ensure sales objectives are met, evaluate productivity, and hold staff accountable for metrics. Act as Manager on Duty by coaching Sales Associates, recruiting qualified talent, and partnering with the Store Manager to solve challenges. Execute the SUGARTAINMENT customer engagement model while maintaining cash records, managing inventory, and merchandising displays per visual guidelines. Drive sales by explaining product benefits and coordinating special events and promotions. Maintain store cleanliness, adhere to Loss Prevention policies, and represent core values of being Positive, Playful, Present, and a Difference Maker. Requires 2-3 years retail experience, POS proficiency, and flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to use a POS/cash register
- Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to work alone or with a minimum amount of supervision
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years retail experience preferred
- Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment preferred
