Job Summary
Lead bakery operations at a Pittsburgh ABOM role, overseeing inventory rotation, scheduling and staffing, ensuring product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience standards. Drive recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback for hourly staff; collaborate with BOM and Area leadership; operate with urgency and accountability; model ownership to step into BOM duties when needed; maintain continuity during leadership transitions and staffing shortages; contribute to a strong culture and upward mobility toward BOM leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations
- Strong operational discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to coach and develop hourly team members
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Ability to perform all bakery roles during peak business periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
