Job Summary
Assist with store functions, including opening and closing procedures, organizing merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Process corporate directives, handle payroll and cash deposits, and ensure promotional fixtures and displays meet standards. Supervise and train Store Associates while enforcing safety guidelines, loss prevention protocols, and company policies to maintain a respectful environment. Perform cleaning duties such as restocking bathrooms, sweeping floors, and managing trash to keep all areas neat. Adhere to policies regarding asset protection and background requirements for licensed products.
Required Qualifications
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment
