Job Summary
Manage day-to-day store operations by opening and closing the store, ensuring the environment is clean, stocked, and compliant with safety regulations. Supervise and coach employees, handle hiring and scheduling, and resolve customer complaints to drive sales and profitability. Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and coordinate product ordering while analyzing performance metrics and managing cash handling procedures. Assist the Store Director in achieving operational goals and maintaining loss prevention standards in a fast-paced retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years of retail, grocery, or supermarket management experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, reach, and perform other physical tasks associated with retail operations
