Assistant Store Manager

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families on the sales floor, delivering welcome service and product knowledge while coaching and developing the store team to meet goals. You’ll execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus, greet and assist customers with product styles and benefits, and foster an inclusive environment. You’ll analyze the business and communicate KPI results with the team, build customer loyalty through company programs, participate in recruiting and training, plan and track tasks and financial results using company tools, and partner with the Store Manager on merchandising standards, promotional planning, and product placement. You’ll help reduce loss through consistent customer service and operational controls, and demonstrate leadership, professional communication, and problem-solving to drive performance. The role requires minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience and a high school diploma or GED; proficiency with basic computer tools is expected; availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
