Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports and consults the Store Manager in daily store operations and administrative duties, oversees store responsibilities in the Manager’s absence, assists in recruiting, training, and evaluating personnel, guides staff in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling, maintains inventory awareness and profitability, ensures quality customer service, upholds company policies and standards across departments, and promotes services and merchandise while protecting assets and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail; multi-tasking
