Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager at Goodwill, you will help lead daily operations of a retail store and donation center, support the Store Manager in creating a positive environment for customers and employees, recruit and onboard new team members, train staff to company standards, verify daily sales deposits and financial procedures, manage product flow and inventory to meet sales goals, open/close the store, handle deposits, resolve customer and donor issues, supervise the processing of donated goods, organize merchandise by category and color, motivate the team through feedback, and potentially act as Store Manager in their absence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of retail management experience (or equivalent education/experience)
