Job Summary
Assistant Manager supporting Store Manager in all store operations, including supervision in the absence of the Store Manager, driving customer service and merchandising excellence, coordinating selling/restocking/ordering/scheduling, and assisting with recruiting, training, and evaluating staff to meet store goals and profitability. Focus on delivering extraordinary customer service, protecting assets, and adhering to company policies across all departments; serves as the point of contact in the Store Manager’s absence and champions operations and visual standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks
- Team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
