Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager in supervising store operations and personnel, including selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, scheduling, and evaluating staff. Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments, assume store leadership in the Store Manager’s absence, ensure inventory accuracy and profitability, uphold policies and procedures, deliver extraordinary customer service, promote merchandise and services, and maintain internal control procedures. The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, team leadership, and a focus on customer service and store performance in a high-velocity retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked
