Job Summary
Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, including selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling; provides guidance to employees, supervises in the Store Manager’s absence, and supports recruiting, training, and evaluation. Ensures quality customer service, protects assets, and promotes merchandise and store services while adhering to policies and procedures; responsible for inventory awareness, store performance, and coordinating action plans to meet departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
