Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in daily operations of Hibbett I City Gear in Fort Walton Beach, ensuring excellent customer service and achievement of store goals. Responsibilities include supervising staff in the Store Manager’s absence, coordinating selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling; directing staff to meet department standards; participating in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation; managing inventory awareness and expenses to support profitability; delivering extraordinary customer service and promoting merchandise; upholding company policies and procedures; and protecting assets through internal controls. Requires leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience in retail
- experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- team-player with customer-service orientation
