Job Summary
Assistant Manager supporting the Store Manager in operations and administrative duties, including determining methods to accomplish store goals; knowledgeable in each product area; upholds policies and standards; provides outstanding customer service and promotes merchandise; assumes supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence; assists in recruiting, training, and evaluating personnel; monitors inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability; directs staff to meet departmental responsibilities; promotes and sells services and merchandise; protects company assets and ensures internal controls; may supervise employees in the Store Manager’s absence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
