Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and administrative duties, consult on action plans to accomplish departmental and store responsibilities, and assume supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence. Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers, manage inventory movement and customer trends, ensure profitability, and promote and sell services and merchandise while upholding company policies and standards. Deliver extraordinary customer service, support staffing, training, and evaluation, and contribute to achieving store goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team-player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
