Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager who supports the Store Manager in all store operations and administrative duties. Responsibilities include assisting with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, scheduling, and training; supervising in the Manager's absence; guiding staff to meet department and store responsibilities; monitoring inventory, sales statistics, and expenses; delivering excellent customer service; enforcing company policies; and promoting merchandise and services. Requires retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, team leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage a team and keep up with goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
- Team-player with passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
