Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports Store Manager in day-to-day operations and administrative duties, including developing action plans, merchandising, restocking, scheduling, recruiting/training, and supervising in the Store Manager’s absence. Ensures customer service excellence, protects assets, analyzes inventory and sales trends, and enforces company policies and procedures; supervises staff in the Store Manager’s absence and contributes to achieving store goals and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail
- Team-player with outstanding customer service and selling skills
