Job Summary
Supervise the processing of donated goods, manage staff training, and oversee store operations including opening and closing procedures. Handle daily sales reporting, financial results, and cash handling while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and store policies. Execute front-of-store duties such as greeting donors, processing transactions, and maintaining sales floor organization. Coordinate with the Area Manager on facility issues and staff scheduling. Works flexible weekends, evenings, and holidays; requires valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Demonstration of team leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and comprehend
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to promote and be responsible for workplace safety
- Ability to handle customer/donor/employee relations (in the absence of a Store Manager)
- Proficiency with POS reporting procedures
- Strong knowledge of financial management
- Ability to do basic math calculations
- Ability to use a computer/iPad with a basic knowledge Word, Excel and other Office programs
- Must be able to use basic office equipment such as telephone and fax machine
