Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
Maximize customer success by offering financial services tailored to their needs and assess risk for loan, pawn, and check cashing transactions. Complete daily call campaigns to build new business and nurture relationships, while overseeing account management and recovery processes to prevent charge-offs. Maintain accurate customer information in the POS system, provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives, and support external tasks like vehicle appraisals and store errands. Meet performance standards through business-to-business partnerships and host community events, ensuring compliance with all policies and conducting regular store audits. Maintain office security, manage vault and cash drawer operations, and uphold a clean facility. Work full-time, including weekends, with regular in-person attendance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year's experience in customer service, sales, or retail
- At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Background check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends

Desired Qualifications
- Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, finance, service, or related industries
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
