Job Summary
Maximize customer success by offering financial services and assessing risk on loan, pawn, and check-cashing transactions. Complete daily call campaigns to build new business and nurture relationships, while overseeing account management and recovery processes. Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy, provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives, and perform external tasks like vehicle appraisals and store errands. Meet performance standards by leveraging B2B partnerships, hosting community events, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws through store audits and financial reporting. Maintain office security protocols, manage vault and cash drawer operations, and ensure a clean, compliant work environment. Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year's experience in customer service, sales, or retail
- At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be able to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, finance, service, or related industries
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
