Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role supports daily operations across one or more self-storage locations under the District Manager and Store Manager. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify storage needs, and drive sales through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies. Ensure cleanliness and safety through site maintenance, conduct daily site safety inspections, and manage billing-related inquiries and delinquent payments. Handle cash transactions and daily bank deposits. Maintain professional relationships with Extra Space Storage employees and perform additional duties as assigned. Bilingual Spanish preferred; day shift with potential Sundays off depending on location. Requires 1+ year of customer-facing experience and a high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle (with NYC/Brooklyn exception).
