Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager for Extra Space Storage oversees daily operations across one or more self-storage locations, supporting District/Store Manager with building customer relationships, executing a structured sales process, and managing customer accounts. Responsibilities include maximizing unit rentals, selling unit insurance and moving supplies, ensuring cleanliness and safety across site offices and buildings, performing daily site safety inspections, resolving customer concerns related to billing, security, and auctions, handling cash transactions and daily deposits, and maintaining professional relationships with fellow employees. Requirements include 1+ year of customer-facing experience and a high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferred (except in NYC/Brooklyn). Required Qualifications
