Job Summary
Proactively communicate with Store Manager and District Manager to maximize revenue opportunities and model selling behaviors aligned with brand culture. Monitor team customer service, provide coaching, and share best practices to deliver a distinctive guest experience. Supervise store operations including opening/closing, shift scheduling, task delegation, and control of cash handling, register counts, and bookkeeping. Analyze inventory trends to manage stock levels and maintain knowledge of all technology systems. Assist the Store Manager in developing and motivating the team to achieve financial targets. Willing to travel 10-25% for training and coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail and/or customer service experience in a high-paced selling environment
- Minimum of 1 year of retail supervisory experience
- Strong sense of business acumen and an understanding of how to measure success through the achievement of financial targets and other key performance indicators
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours
- Previous experience working in a heavily regulated industry
- Strong leadership skills, ability to build and manage teams
- Strong salesmanship skills. Experience in driving revenue
- Strong experience and attention to detail in cash handling and POS operations
- Demonstrated desire for continued learning and the ability to effectively share information with broad audiences
- Ability to work independently and take initiative/be empowered to run the business in the absence of the Store Manager
- Open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
- Willing to travel to other locations for training and/or coverage
- Travel Requirements: 10% - 25%
- Ability to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and finger to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- High stress tolerance
- Adaptability, and be flexible to work in an ever-changing environment
