Job Summary
Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs and assess risk of financial transactions, evaluating and accurately processing loan, pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products. Complete daily call campaigns to market services, build new business, and nurture customer relationships while overseeing account management and recovery processes, including collection calls. Maintain customer information in the point of sale (POS) system with accuracy and integrity, provide support and coaching to Customer Service Representatives, and perform duties outside the office such as on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands. Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and hosting in-store and community events. Maintain office security protocols, conduct proper opening and closing procedures including vault and cash drawer management, and ensure compliance with Company policies and local, state, and federal laws. Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends, in a rapidly changing environment.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year's experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
- At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
- Background check required.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
- Must be available for weekends.
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends.
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule of at least 40 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications
- Management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, finance, service, or related industries.
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
