Job Summary
Assist Store Manager by supporting customers through financial services and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. Drive account management, customer outreach, and risk management; supervise and coach team members; handle store operations, cash handling, vault and cash drawer procedures; participate in on-site store audits, compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and community/market activities. Responsibilities include maximizing customer success through appropriate financial services, processing loan/pawn applications and check cashing transactions, completing daily outreach campaigns, maintaining accurate POS data, and assisting with training and development of Customer Service Representatives. The role requires scheduling consistency (full-time, 40 hours/week), ability to stand for long periods, physical tasks, and willingness to work across locations as needed. Preferred qualifications include prior management experience in retail/finance, experience with money services (check cashing, money orders), and bilingual English/Spanish when required by location.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail
- At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
- Background check required
- Ability to meet physical demands (standing up to 90% of the time; moving up to 25 pounds; facility movement); compliant with safety procedures
- Full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance (40 hours per week)
