Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
Lead Sales Associates and Supervisors to engage customers, drive sales, and develop staff through training on products and selling skills. Support the Store Manager in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and coaching, and in creating schedules to meet labor and expense targets. Ensure product knowledge across technology and offerings, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster an inclusive, collaborative store environment that delivers a positive shopping experience and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in position or specialization
- Experience operating Inventory and POS systems
- Experience driving consumer engagement, personalized service, and selling skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a diverse staff
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and coach employees
- Ability to create weekly store schedules and manage labor and operating expenses
- Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and shrink control
- No formal education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
- Ability to work in a physically active environment and flexible retail scheduling
