Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager leads a store team to deliver TD’s model of convenience, sales and advice by managing day-to-day service, sales and operational objectives in a TD store location. The role focuses on growing customer relationships through personalized, connected service and by coaching colleagues to provide end-to-end advice, including educating customers, making product recommendations based on needs, and ensuring compliance. Responsibilities include directing team performance on advisory and service activities, overseeing teller and platform operations, driving lead generation and referrals, and representing the TD brand in community engagement while maintaining regulatory and policy adherence. The role requires deep knowledge of financial concepts and TD’s product suite, with responsibilities spanning coaching, performance management, risk mitigation, scheduling, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience working with customers and or sales in any capacity or equivalent
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Notary License (Preferred)
- Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire (preferred)
- OCC/Reg Z compliance awareness and mortgage/licensing requirements as applicable
