Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role overseeing front-line customer service and regulatory compliance within Check N Go/CNG Holdings family of brands. Responsibilities include educating customers on product options, escalating issues to supervisory leadership, handling a high-volume cash environment with cash drawer management, processing transactions (loans, check cashing, Net Spend) in compliance with federal/state regulations, performing customer verifications, achieving accuracy in day-end reconciliations, and maintaining professional communication to ensure customer satisfaction. Requires strong verbal and written communication, active listening, ability to multitask, and dependable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred
- Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment
- Must have own personal reliable transportation in compliance with published policy and procedure, this may not include public transportation, transportation from family or friends, must maintain a valid Driver’s License and valid Automobile Insurance while employed by the company
