Assistant Store Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, welcoming customers, and supporting a positive, inclusive environment. You’ll help supervise and develop store staff, execute workforce management, coach for exceptional customer engagement, and drive KPIs. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, assisting with product styles and benefits, recruiting, training, merchandising planning, markdown execution, loss prevention, and ensuring a quality omnichannel service experience. The role requires leadership, effective communication, and the ability to analyze business results to improve store performance. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of two closing shifts per week. A high school diploma or GED is required; education programs offer growth opportunities and tuition-free pathways for further education.
