Job Summary
Plan and implement sales strategies to attract repeat customers while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency. Lead by example on the sales floor and register to deliver exceptional customer service, actively engaging shoppers and handling complaints professionally. Monitor inventory levels, manage daily cash handling, and prepare end-of-day reports. Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, interviewing, training, and coaching staff on product knowledge, compliance, and safety protocols. Maintain visual standards and merchandise presentation. Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and act as the store representative when the Store Manager is absent.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years retail management experience or equivalent
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
- Experience with POS and inventory management systems
- Ability to open and close the store independently
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and adaptability by responding effectively to changing priorities
- Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables
- Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location
