Job Summary

Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, answer questions about merchandise, and recommend products to create a wardrobing experience. Fulfill sales goals by maintaining knowledge of promotions, policies, and security practices while utilizing the Sales Presentation Guide daily. Manage visual merchandising by assigning zones, ensuring floor standards, and executing markdowns, pulls, and freight handling. Train and motivate teammates through daily orientation, coaching on sales presentation, and leading shift activities. Assist the Store Manager in recruitment, staffing, and delegating tasks across all store segments. Handle loss prevention procedures, POS operations, and emergency situations when the manager is absent. Work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
Ability to effectively understand and show the merchandise of both the Gals and Guys' sides to benefit the Team and Guests
Ability to identify and follow through on all Teammate training needs
Ability to foresee and anticipate changes in product and act independently to improve overall visual results
Ability to execute and teach all Point of Sale (POS) procedures
Ability to recognize recruiting opportunities by utilizing Jobs & Careers cards, email referrals and Teammate Recommend
Ability to effectively lead, direct, motivate and educate new Teammates to meet and achieve Buckle's accountability, shift orientation, Loss Prevention and sales presentation standards on a daily basis
Ability to effectively use the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily to accomplish goals
Ability to recognize merchandising opportunities from freight to floor and life cycle of product, communicating recommendations and solutions to Store Manager
