Job Summary
Manage staff and operations across store departments to ensure product quality, food safety, and adequate inventory stock levels. Oversee merchandising execution, sales targets, and profit achievement while enforcing company standards and procedures. Conduct daily store inspections, handle customer complaints, and resolve operational problems through direct supervision. Review historical sales data to predict future trends and manage inventory processes to maintain satisfactory in-stock levels. Monitor profit and loss, shrink, and labor data to provide summaries to upper management regarding related issues. Frequently open and close the store, ensuring a presentable environment and adequate staff availability. Enforce quality control and food safety standards, manage pricing, direct store delivery duties, and loss prevention strategies. Lead safety processes including monthly self-inspections, incident reporting, and asset protection protocols. Execute core merchandising plans through displays and category management promotions to increase sales.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business
- Associate Degree in related field
- Two or more years of related experience
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification
- Tobacco/Alcohol certification (TABC/LACT/AATC/ABLE)
- Manager Food Safety certification
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification
- Ability to safely work with sharp objects such as knives, box cutters, etc.
- Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jack
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to carry out short-term strategic objectives aligned with Company initiatives
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to evaluate partner performance and make corrections as needed, in a tactful manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes
- Ability to perform basic Microsoft Office functions
- Ability to attend work
