Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager provides leadership and direction to front line associates to ensure customers have a memorable experience, overseeing operations for a single retail location including staff, cash handling, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, store appearance, and related duties. Responsibilities include motivating and leading associates, cross-training for operational stability, handling customer complaints/warranty issues, processing casualty losses/repair damages, managing work orders and routing of mobile jobs, training on installation techniques and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations, and maintaining productivity, quality standards, and store conditions. The role requires adapting to various weather conditions, strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and prior supervisory experience in retail or service environments; automotive experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent OR 3-5 years of leadership/supervisory experience
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license
  • 1+ year of supervisory/leadership/key holder experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web applications, and general office equipment
  • Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions
