Job Summary
Organize store operations, allocate personnel responsibilities, and maintain up-to-date inventory sheets and pick lists. Interview and select candidates, create retail associate schedules, and supervise staff to guide them toward maximum performance. Prepare and control the store's budget, monitor stock levels, and ensure purchases stay within financial targets. Address customer complaints, inspect store areas to resolve issues, and plan promotional events or displays. Analyze sales and revenue reports to make forecasts and keep abreast of market trends for improvements. Ensure the store fulfills all safety guidelines and contribute to a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management
- Strong background in sales and customer service
- Ability to effectively manage cash handling, cash registers, and inventory control
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Experience in negotiating with vendors and managing vendor relationships
